Why do finance and operations arrive with two revenues?
Method
One semantic layer, one owner per metric, and a rule that a number cannot enter the Monday deck until its grain and its exclusions fit on a single card.
Finding
Both revenues were arithmetically right and both were unnamed. The meeting was reconciling synonyms.
What moved
The Monday meeting lost its first twenty minutes. Disagreements moved to the definition, where they belong, instead of to whichever spreadsheet was opened last.
